What Faith Can Do - The Malone Family

What faith can do… anything.

This has been a very trying two weeks. But honestly, we knew it would be. For two reasons.

Our friends returned home to America last Monday and we know that satan loves to attack when we are down anyway. When we’re emotionally vulnerable.
God is doing amazing things. We had a great meeting Monday evening last week with some people who want us to start a Bible study for parents and a program for kids with special needs. All of which will take place in our home. God has provided us a hub for ministry and He is beginning to put it to use. Fast! These people are not believers. Yet. But they have a desire to study God’s Word. They are truly “seekers.”

So you see…we talked about it last Monday and knew that there would be a time of testing and trial. We didn’t know what…or how. But they have been “various trials” like Scripture talks about.

Tuesday evening we found out that our van is finished. There is a breach in the engine (cracked block) and antifreeze is ending up where oil should be. There is another crack somewhere allowing oil into places where it should be…like the alternator (which died) and in every nook and cranny of the engine that has caused multiple failures. Ever felt trapped at home with 9 kids… It’s a trial and test. Even though we don’t go lots of places all together, it’s still mentally straining.

But enough about the trials specifically. The fact is that God knows all this and has allowed it and it DOES fit into His plan for us.

We continue to put on the full armor every morning and we continue to fight the good fight…running the race with perseverance.

It doesn’t matter what you’ve heard. Impossible is not a word. It’s just a reason for someone not to try. Everybody’s scared to death when they decide to take that step out on the water. It’ll be alright

Life is so much more than what your eyes are seeing. You will find your way if you keep believing

Overcome the odds…You don’t have a chance. (That’s what faith can do). When the world says you can’t..It’ll tell you that you can.
