That is how I like to think of Ethan. He has come so far in the ten months he has been home. I will never forget the day we met him for the first time. It seemed impossible that this frail, tiny little boy could be six and a half. He was distant, and really didn’t want anything to do with us that day, but that didn’t stop my heart from wanting to scoop him up and make a bee line for the door, and never look back!
One of our early visits with Ethan. We were never able to get Ethan to play with any of the toys we brought. He could barely tolerate being held.
Ethan ten months and ten pounds later!
One is favorite toys! What a big boy he is!
Ethan’s first bath, it was so hard to see him with no clothes in those early days, not to mention it was like bathing a cat!
Now he loves a bath! Look at that belly !
We are so grateful to be called Ethan’s parents, our lives are forever changed by his precious life. Would you join us in praying for our little man. He will under go a colostomy reversal in the morning, and remain in the hospital for the week.
Blessing the Name of our Great Physician!
